We’re very passionate about our local community, and we frequently host events here at The Shepherds Inn, from quiz nights, to Curry Nights, often in aid of local charities and fundraising efforts.

Wine & Cheese Evening

Join Master Sommelier, Stephen Wilcock, for a night exploring the joys of wine, coupled with some of our favourite local farmhouse cheeses.

Join us on a journey through the wine world as we taste some select wines from our cellar.

It’s also the perfect opportunity to learn something new, or even to just sharpen your wine knowledge. Stephen will round the evening off with an intimate Q&A.

QUIZ NIGHT

To date, we have sold every seat in every one of our monthly Quiz Nights, which attract people not only from the village but from far and wide. With new themes every month and, of course, prizes, there’s no better reason to join the fun.

We hold our Quiz Nights on the second Sunday of every month, and every penny raised contributes to our efforts to rebuild our village playground.
